While away summer days on the picturesque National Trust beach at Llanbedrog on the scenic Llyn Peninsula, when you stay at this unique group holiday home. Sleeping eight guests, the four-bedroom retreat takes in views out over magical Cardigan Bay, or Bae Ceredigion in Welsh, and is just 350 metres from the sandy beach. Designed by Sir Bertram Clough Williams-Ellis, the architect behind the renowned Welsh Italianate village of Portmeirion, is perfect for an extended family break or a North Wales escape with friends.

Open the front door to discover inviting accommodation with beautiful views out towards the sea. From the entrance hall, head through to the first lounge to light the wood burner and watch TV on chilly days or to open the French doors on to the garden when the weather is fine. The second lounge also features glass doors and a wood burner. Here the wood burner is dual aspect, with the dining room for grand, celebratory meals to the other side. Also downstairs are the kitchen, where you can whip up the group meals, a family shower room and the utility room. Take in the sea views from upstairs as well. The bedrooms here include two doubles, a twin and a bunk bedroom. The family bathroom is also at this level. Relax out in the lawned garden, where you can play games with the children, cook supper on the BBQ and gaze out towards the sea and mountains. Parking is on a private road to the front of the property.

Pick up the Wales Coast Path and it right around the Llyn Peninsula for beautiful coastal views. Visit the Plas Glyn y Weddw Gallery 500 metres from your base. Have a day out to the long sandy beach at Porth Neigwl, which is popular with surfers.

Lovely place. Fantastic position with amazing views and a safe enclosed garden for children. 5 mins from the beach and 10 mins to the nearest pub/restaurant.

Stunning location! The sea views are breathtaking. Wendon is beautifully presented and very homely. Just a short walk to the beach bar and local pub. Stayed here twice and will definitely be back.

We felt a little disappointed with the hot tub. We paid 200 for the privilege of using it which seemed expensive but assumed that meant it would be cleaned regularly during our stay. It was sealed off when we got there but it was quite murky water when we opened it. Everywhere we have stayed previously with a hot tub you have been able to use itRead more the first day as it takes a while to get up to temp. This was ready to use when we got there, murky water and no clean or chemical top up our whole 7 days. Fabulous house and location, just felt the hot tub was a rip off for what it was and just a money spinner ..... Feedback would be to charge less or have a proper cleaning rota for that kind of money. Only reason scored 3 for comfort was the blind situation in the bedrooms. Dont even fit while windows. Barely any blackout. We all arrived home exhausted as very little sleep from 5am each day. Children and adults.

The kitchen was not as well equipped as it should have been. It was also very small. Two people could not work in the kitchen at the same time. Given the potential for eight people to be staying, some kitchen equipment was limited ( eg the dishwasher was only a small one which would certainly not accommodate eight place servings, plus cooking disheRead mores, and there was very limited storage for food.). The online photos made the interior of the property seem much larger than it actually was. The setting of the house is absolutely fabulous, and the house was very clean when we arrived. Hide

Very comfortable and a great location. Great facilities in the house. Disappointed by cleanliness, found half eaten chocolate behind the sofa when retrieving a throw. Vaccuum cleaner full, way beyond max, not prepared to empty it ourselves, but unable to use safely as a result. Spiders in the corners of each room, making a party member very uncoRead moremfortable. In the twin room the spiders had dropped dead moths etc on to the pillow. The hot tub was full of sand; we paid 200 to use it and it hadn't been cleaned properly. The kitchen is too small for the size of the property one person at a time can use it. Can't retrieve anything when someone is cooking. Limited food storage; could use a measuring jug. On our last day, we planned to stay around the village/property have a BBQ and make use of the hot tub etc. But neighbours had landscape gardeners in from 8.30am, mowing, hammering etc. Made the whole house shake, so we had to go out.
